Chair of Governors

I was a Governor of my own children’s primary and secondary schools for many years and taught for over twenty years in a special school. I became a Parent Governor at Trinity Fields in 2016 and was subsequently appointed as a Local Authority Governor because I wanted to share my skills and experience to further enhance the work of the school. For eighteen years I was a long-term foster carer for five children with additional learning needs and complex and challenging behaviour, two of whom attended Trinity Fields. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren, children and former foster children.
