Chair of Governors

I was a Governor of my own children’s primary and secondary schools for many years and taught for over twenty years in a special school. I became a Parent Governor at Trinity Fields in 2016 and was subsequently appointed as a Local Authority Governor because I wanted to share my skills and experience to further enhance the work of the school. For the last nineteen years I have been a long-term foster carer for five children with additional learning needs and challenging behaviour, two of whom attended Trinity Fields.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren and children and supporting my former foster children.
