Caerphilly Autistic Spectrum Service (CASS)

The Caerphilly Autistic Spectrum Service (CASS) is a unique project that combines the more ‘traditional’ outreach teacher / learning support assistant with home and communication support for children, young people and their families.

This holistic model has focused on developing a joined up, multiagency approach to support young people, families and school where there is a confirmed diagnosis of Autistic spectrum Disorder (ASD). The Service recognises that children and young people diagnosed with an ASD require all who are involved in supporting them to understand their needs and provide consistency and stability in all aspects of their lives.
