Local Authority Governor

I was elected as AM for Caerphilly in May 2016. Before that I was a University Lecturer, specialising in small business and employment. I was also a Caerphilly County Borough Councillor for 10 years, representing my home area.

I am currently a member of the Assembly’s Children, Young People and Education Committee. My interests as an AM include: Additional Learning Needs, Small Business, Self-Employment and Affordable Housing. My office can be contacted on 01443 838542; I can arrange to meet constituents via appointments.
